Some drew comparisons to Brandi Chastain's appearance at the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup celebrations sporting a sports bra where the sporting successes of women were obscured by discussions over their appearance. The online journalist snapped photos of Stokke's performance in New York, early in 2007. In May, the photo was republished in the form of With Leather a sports blog with a large male fanbase noting the attractiveness of seventeen-year-old Stokke with the caption Pole Vaulting is Sexy Barely legal. Matt Ufford, the owner of the blog which the photo was published on, had been threatened with a lawsuit by the photographer in the event that the photo were not taken down. The article did however receive a lot of attention from other sites and the picture was widely shared. Stokke's pole vaulting images were uploaded to a tribute site. When the photos were shared on social media, fan sites gained thousands new followers. Alyce Caron..............Alyce Caron was born in Houston in the United States in February 1957. She wanted to finish her high school graduation in Florida. Alyce made the decision in 1974 to take a new direction in her career by taking on an internship. Alyce is the proud sibling of a professor. She is supported by her family and works as an assistant professor in an institution in the area. Alyce is a member of a family who reside in Texas.
